"Ring" in the New Year!

2011 has been a huge success for us. My name has grown not just in the state of Michigan, but I have become welcome in North Carolina too. My clientele this year ranged from friends to new clients. I'm so happy to be able to share my love of photography with everyone willing to let me in their lives for their special moment. I'm currently booking for 2012. Message me for rates and details. Katie and Jason

I was so happy when Katie reached out to me to shoot her maternity pics. Her and Jason are very sweet and I love how stylish they are. Makes these shots look amazing. Seriously what pregnant woman do you know wearing heels and a killer dress like Katie. Love the vintage look she went with, absolutely love! I'm so happy to be able to share these with you. Hope you love them as much as I do. Can't wait to meet little Easton in the coming months :)

Christyn's Bridals

These images have been on lock down until this past weekend. Christyn and Scott tied the knot on Saturday, December 3rd in Isle of Palms, SC. I was glad to be a part of their wedding day. As a photographer I'm always on the outside shooting in, but Christyn, Scott and their amazing family made me feel so welcome. Their love for not only each other, but everyone close to them blew me away. I've never seen such a family brought together with love as much as they have for each other. I'm glad I was able to witness such a beautiful weekend. I wish you both happiness in the Dominican Republic this week :)

Fall Colors

I ended up having an open day on Sunday so my better half and I made a last minute trip to the mountains. We missed the peak leave season, but there was still a lot of color to be seen. Here are a few of the shots I was able to take. Gorgeous may be a bit of an understatement.

Jen + Louie

Today I was able to spend the afternoon with Jen and Louie in gorgeous McDowell Park. I had been nervous all week since Charlotte has seen some cold and wet weather the past few days, but we had the perfect weather today. Absolutely gorgeous! Jen and Louie were fun to shoot and it helped to have their moms cracking jokes behind me to keep us all laughing. I'll be photographing Jen and Louie's wedding next fall, but here are their engagement photos. I love the fall colors.

Hayes

Meet little Hayes. She is only six days old. She surprised us all and came early, but so glad she did. She is absolutely adorable and so glad I was able to meet her. Here are some shots that I did earlier today of this dimpled angel.

Ok so this isn't technically photography related, but since I am behind the design of these I had to share to all my brides to pass these along to anyone they know interested. As some of you may know I have an etsy store called "Coco & Bubbles" and until now had been producing children products. Yet, after producing a fascinator for a wedding shoot I fell in love with the process and the finished product. After some major hours invested I finally am releasing my new products. Jessica + Matt

I photographed Jessica and Matt's wedding on September 17th in Dearborn, MI. I've known Jessica since we were 15 as we both worked at the same restaurant. We have stayed in touch over the years and was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. It was nice visiting Michigan during the early fall days and enjoying cooler weather and familiar faces. Here are some previews from their day.

Zayd + Ayden

I was lucky enough to schedule these twins as one of my mini-sessions. They weren't feeling so well that day, but they did great and these photos are proof. Really excited to share with you Zayd and Ayden.

Riley – six months

A few weeks ago I was in Michigan photographing a wedding so took the opportunity to hold mini-sessions at Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth. I was excited to meet up with little Riley again. She has grown so much just from the last few months when I had seen her last. I love her fall themed photos.
